Position Overview:
We're hiring a driven Logistics Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive in generating new business across diverse industries requiring logistics services. Previous industry experience is preferred, with a proven ability to bring in new business opportunities directly to Western Post. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our business by identifying potential clients, understanding their logistics needs, and offering tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and target potential customers to drive business growth and secure contracts.
Lead Generation: Utilize sales expertise to generate and pursue leads, leveraging industry knowledge and networks.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their logistics needs and proposing customized solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for all secured orders.
Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and changes in the logistics landscape.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, showcasing our capabilities and services.
Negotiation: Skill fully negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Customer Support: Provide exceptional support throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
